BAGGGEL Newsletter November 2024
Dear Bagggel Community,
As the new year draws closer, I’m filled with excitement for the possibilities that lie ahead. This is the perfect time to reflect and renew our efforts to strengthen our bonds and set ambitious goals for the future.
Over the course of the past month, I had the privilege of being a part of some interesting events. To begin with, I was honored to host Asif Mohammed last week for an enlightening discussion on the impact of community in uplifting and empowering women to lead with confidence and resilience.
Drawing on his experience with building Mompresso, Asif shared personal anecdotes and practical advice that left our community feeling empowered and ready to tackle new challenges.
What struck me most was his humility—his belief that success is a collective effort—and his unshakeable commitment to creating safe, meaningful spaces for women. Listening to him was a reminder of the power of purpose-driven leadership and the role we each play in building a more inclusive, balanced world.
Remember, every interaction within our community is an opportunity for mutual growth and empowerment. In the world of leadership, your network is your net worth.
With warmth and purpose,
Supria

Being CEO Ready Masterclass - Silence to Strength - Women Empowered by Community
Earlier this month, we hosted Asif Mohammed (ex-Co Founder & CTO at Momspresso) in an exciting fireside chat. This chat was a masterclass in leadership, innovation, and community building.
Asif’s journey from co-founding Momspresso, India’s largest digital content platform for women, to championing community-driven empowerment, is nothing short of inspiring. He shared candidly about his professional evolution—from developing groundbreaking banking technology to pivoting a hyperlocal kids' platform into a vibrant online community for mothers and women at large.
Asif’s reflections on leadership resonated deeply, especially his emphasis on empathy as a cornerstone of effective leadership. His journey was not without challenges; he made tough decisions, like turning down lucrative opportunities that didn’t align with his vision for the platform.
Whether you’re a leader, entrepreneur, or passionate supporter of women in business, this session is a unique opportunity to gain valuable insights and be inspired.
