BAUU 44 - Emotional Intelligence: How to Make a Lasting IMPACT
Welcome back to Business As UnUsual (BAUU) TL;DR solutions for leaders. In this issue, we focus on how Emotional Intelligence (EI) helps leaders create a lasting impact.
The format for this edition is:
"Emotional intelligence is the key to unlocking leadership potential in yourself and others." — (Rick Yvanovich)
Problem:
Emotions can easily be overlooked in fast-paced environments, but they significantly affect leadership effectiveness. Leaders who lack emotional intelligence struggle to connect with their teams, navigate challenges, and influence others positively.
How can leaders develop emotional intelligence to inspire trust, empathy, and long-lasting positive influence?
"The best leaders don’t just manage people—they manage emotions." — (Rick Yvanovich)

1moPersonally, I find self-reflection journal very effective in terms of understanding my own emotional reactions and reviewing the situations objectively. However, it requires some sort of detachment in order to view with clarity. It also helps me appreciate the people with whom I interact so much more. Thank you for sharing with us!
