Special Closed Sale for Nissan Dealers at BCA Perry Barr is a sell-out success

BCA staged a special closed sale for Nissan Dealers on Tuesday 18th June at BCA Perry Barr.  A total of 281 cars and vans were offered with the very latest Nissan models including Juke, Qashqai, X-Trail and Ariya and Townstar, Primastar and Interstar LCV models, with EV and hybrid models featuring prominently.  Star of the show was the 2016 Nissan GTR (Nismo 600), one of just 32 examples in the UK.  All 281 vehicles were pre-sale prepared at BCA Perry Barr prior to the sale going live and bidding getting underway.

Gary Huggett, Nissan Head of Used Cars and RV Management commented “We were delighted with the presentation and marketing of the vehicles in this sale and the team at BCA Perry Barr pulled out all the stops to ensure we had a very successful event.  To sell 100% of this large entry of Nissan stock for 105% of CAP Clean was an excellent achievement and demonstrated how BCA’s extensive range of pre- and post-sale services added real value to the overall event.”

Mark Hindley, BCA Group Business Development Director - OEM added “We worked closely with Nissan to ensure vehicles were pre-sale prepared to the exacting OEM standards required and that the online cataloguing accurately outlined the exact specification including a valuation of any extras. The sale attracted a large audience of buyers and the bidding was competitive throughout the sale.”

BCA announces latest update to Commercial Vehicle Grading scheme

As BCA continues to expand its market leading LCV sale programme, the company has announced a further update to its Commercial Vehicle Grading scheme.  The latest iteration has been developed with buyers and sellers in mind, making it easier than ever to identify and compare condition to support the purchasing process, while helping sellers present their vehicles in the best possible condition to remarket.

The latest update to the grading process uses a points-based approach to identify damage and is supported by BCA’s LCV grading algorithm which calculates the grade to give customers a clear and consistent indication of vehicle condition. This same information can be used during the refurbishment process, allowing sellers to make an informed decision around investment prior to offering for sale.

Stuart Pearson, BCA COO commented “BCA has been grading Commercial Vehicles for many years and our latest iteration has been developed after reviewing the information from many hundreds of thousands of LCVs sold at BCA in recent years.

“Whatever the value band, buyers want vehicles that can be turned into a sales opportunity quickly, and the latest iteration of our Commercial Vehicle Grading has been developed to support all parts of this process and provide benefits to buyers and sellers alike.”
