Become a “Neuro SLP” Without Breaking the Bank

I’ve argued numerous times that our profession is a “whole body” profession.

Yet, while everything is connected and important, I’m going to argue that there’s ONE organ that SLPs should know the most about.

🧠The brain.

You know, that marvelously complex network of neurons, cells, and tissue that controls every aspect of our existence?

Weighing in at an average of just two pounds of what I like to call “thought meat”, the brain is mightier than I can fully comprehend.

Which is funny because I’m saying my brain can barely comprehend itself!

🤯So meta, I know.

Which leads me to my next question…

How much have you actually learned about the brain as it relates to your job as an SLP?

Because you can check out these four full-day neuro courses JUST for SLPs at half the price this week!

That’s over 35 hours of neuro SLP education.

Why am I doing this?

Because here’s the thing…

More and more medical facilities are requiring a deeper understanding of neuro - ESPECIALLY if they are (or want to become) a JCAHO-accredited neuro center of excellence or a Stroke Certified Center.

According to the Joint Commission, facilities that have earned (or WANT to earn) this designation must adopt a set of standardized performance measures that are measured each month and reported quarterly.

📢Part of this requires therapists to have specialty knowledge and a minimum amount of neuro-based continuing education.

I didn't realize this was a thing until a major medical center called me up and told me that they got cited for their SLPs NOT having extensive neuro education like their PT/OT colleagues get

They asked me if I could recommend some in-depth courses. Aaaand welp... I could NOT!

So we set out to create courses that meet the immediate needs of SLPs and our facilities that need to ensure that their SLPs meet these requirements

And NOW you can get them all for half off!
