If there’s one thing that has kept me going in business, it’s focusing on genuine relationships rather than relying solely on skills. Of course, skills matter—you get paid for what you do—but forging real connections with partners, clients, and even competitors has made all the difference. 

Early on, I noticed that a warm referral often opens more doors than the flashiest résumé. 

Over time, honest conversations and empathetic listening have led to trust—something money can’t buy. Looking back, my biggest breaks came not from a polished pitch but from a friendly chat. And that, to me, is priceless. 

Cheers to more warm, empathetic, and genuine relationships in 2025 and beyond.
