Behind the Scenes of Success
“Ever wonder what it’s really like to work behind the scenes of success? In this week’s reflection, I dive into the power of delegation, the reality of the entrepreneurial grind, and the importance of family in a world that moves fast. Here’s what I’ve learned—and how you can apply it to your own journey.”
Reflections
Today, I’m visiting Maddy at the LinkedIn office, which always feels like home when I’m vibing with everyone there. It’s a familiar and energizing space for me.
I’ve also been working closely with Ian Koniak, where I’ve witnessed the power of delegation firsthand. It’s fascinating to see how efficiently Ian operates by enabling others instead of trying to do everything himself. I’m grateful to be part of a team where everyone does their part, and we work together so effectively.
As I commute into NYC and work out of a WeWork , I can’t help but feel gratitude for entrepreneurs out there grinding day after day to bring their visions to life. As a society, we tend to glamorize entrepreneurship, but the reality often involves a lot of routine and monotony. It’s a relentless commitment, and I deeply respect the hustle it takes to stay the course.
“One of the reasons Ian hired me was to help me focus on making the main thing the main thing. It’s a lesson in commitment, reminding me that not every moment needs to be exciting. There’s value in the day-to-day grind, and Ian’s success is a testament to this discipline.”
I’m lucky to learn from the incredible team here, including Tanveer and Isaac, who have helped me grow in so many ways. We also have a fantastic copywriter and someone who assists with the Transformation Tuesday webinar. People might see revenue, but what they don’t often realize is how much gets reinvested into the business, including commissions, operational expenses, and other costs that aren’t always visible from the outside.
Over the weekend, I visited my grandmother. She’s mentally sharp, but she recently had surgery, and it’s difficult to think about how much time she has left. I try to make the most of our time together. She’s a champion with a heart of gold. Family values really do get passed down, and no matter how much we might critique or judge our family members, they are often the ones who are there for us day in and day out.

“Friends, on the other hand, can come and go with the different seasons of life. That’s just the way it is. Life is unpredictable, and relationships change over time.”
If you’d told me three years ago that I’d be working with one of the most influential sales trainers and motivational speakers, I wouldn’t have believed you. It’s one of the greatest gifts of living in a society full of abundance—if you choose to see it.
Of course, the world isn’t perfect, but by almost every measure, we’re living at a higher standard of life than ever before. You wouldn’t know it from scrolling through social media, though.
I was listening to Mark Manson ’s The Subtle Art of Not Giving a Fck* podcast recently, and he made an interesting point: as a society, we put too much emphasis on the presidential election when it’s local politics that actually impacts our day-to-day lives the most. That really stuck with me.
I’ve realized that I enjoy listening to contrarian viewpoints because mainstream thinking isn’t always helpful—especially if it’s not empowering.
