Being a DevOps Engineer at Codeway

“DevOps is not a goal, but a never-ending process of continual improvement” - Jez Humble

DevOps is what keeps Codeway alive, makes sure that our products meet millions of users’ requests, and ensures that everything runs as smoothly as possible - on a global scale.

We are looking for an extraordinary Jr. DevOps Engineer to help us continuously repeat our success loops! If you feel ambitious enough to take part in Codeway’s DevOps Team and looking for ways to improve your skills with the help of the right sources and right people, take a look at our open positions at codeway.co/jobs!

Cycles of Success

Every day, millions of users around the world use Codeway’s products. While developing our mobile apps and games, we keep user engagement as our top priority. Providing the best possible user experience relies mostly on the work done by our DevOps Engineers.

While usually operating in the background, our DevOps Team makes sure that our products reach the users without any bugs and crashes. In its most basic definition, DevOps combines development and operation processes in a company. Thanks to ‘the infinite loop’ which consists of steps such as plan, code, build, test, release, deploy, operate, monitor; our products and beloved mobile game Rumble Rivals always stay reachable to our users anywhere in the world and anytime they want.

Repeating the successful plans and monitoring them continuously is the main logic of CI and CD cycles. When done right, there is no doubt that it will lead you to success. Similar logic is also in the heart of Codeway’s manifesto: dream, measure, build, and repeat! We believe repeating what we’ve dreamed right is the key point of being successful.

Never-Ending Improvement

The only goal of DevOps is basically to provide continuous improvement by increasing automation and tool connectivity. Automation makes our software teams more efficient, innovative and makes them able to offer higher value to our customers by providing better products.

The utilization of the DevOps approach will decrease the time needed for publishing the new features. The ability to quickly adapt to the changing requirements of both business and customers will increase the competitiveness of the products. Customer loyalty will also increase since their demands will be met as quickly as possible - which is made possible by the infrastructure built by DevOps engineers.

Connecting the World Together by Working in PvP Mobile Game

Working in a PvP mobile game could be one of the best opportunities that any DevOps engineer could have. Our mid-core tower defense game, Rumble Rivals, will offer our DevOps engineers a perfect place to improve their skills and learn new things.

To develop a successful mobile game, it’s important for us to provide a trouble-free gaming experience for our users. Providing the best possible gaming experience - especially in a PvP mobile game where even milliseconds are counted - among the mobile gamers all around the world mostly relies on the work that is done by our DevOps team.

With the outstanding work done by our DevOps team, we were able to develop a mobile game that offers smooth gameplay and is free of unexpected failures that are likely to decrease the quality of the user experience.

Working at Codeway will make you laugh, entertain, learn relentlessly, and repeat all the things you love to do. As a Jr. DevOps Engineer, you will have a chance to take part in the DevOps processes of products that reach millions of users every day and also will gain experience by working in the PvP mobile game.
