Being Free Yildiz
I have a belief that we are all unique, with infinite potential. So if this is the case, what is it that holds us back from developing our potential and creating the life we want to live?
Our inception into life, family dynamics and the events we experience in daily life, all impact who we are and who we become. (I am not including what we inherit genetically, simply what we experience in our personal biography.)
The ups and downs of life affect us, because we are highly sensitive, relational beings. Particularly, those experiences that cause inner disturbances, conflicts or trauma. If these are unable to be processed, they are frequently repressed into our personal unconscious mind. This includes the mind, body and nervous system. where they hide as live disturbances that may be triggered into involuntary disturbed feelings, beliefs and behaviours.
This affects all of us to some extent. Even those who’ve had a loving and caring upbringing, will have experienced disturbances or even traumatic events, such as bullying, injustice, feeling shamed or guilt at some points in our lives.
This is ‘normal’, as we are all born into chaos, dysfunction and unavoidable events. In fact these can help us build resilience, encourage problem solving and the sourcing and development of powerful resources that can become invaluable in our lives.
But what do we do with those negative aspects that linger into adult life and become the cause of poor self-worth, blocks to success, or inhibit our potential?
We can live with it as those before us have had to, or use strategies to attempt to overcome them, but this still means living with it rather than resolving it. For many, these frequently become the basis of mental health issues, disturbed feelings, thoughts and involuntary behaviours and traumatic symptoms including PTSD and the ongoing trauma of sexual abuse.
I knew from my practice that Family Constellations is a powerful way of working with generational relational bonds, patterns and generational trauma of all kinds. This has been a valuable learning that I quickly adapted into my daily practice with clients as required. However, I became aware that the mind-body connection also holds a separate bundle of repressed memories of disturbances ranging from mild to traumatic that I found Family Constellations unable to resolve sufficiently.
However, I required a new way of working that had the efficiency and brief flowing way of working that constellation methodology has. A way that is specific for problems that were not specifically systemic in nature. This is how and why I created Emotional Mind Integration (EMI).
EMI requires 3-5 sessions only, for complex disturbances, from mild to extreme personal trauma and recovery from sexual abuse for most people.
Emotional Mind covers many bases in one modality. It is:
