The Benefits of Digital Financial Planning in the New Normal

The financial services profession is undergoing a digital transformation, as the world adapts to the new normal of #workingfromhome and #workingfromanywhere with remote access. The shift to digital #financialplanning has led to increased efficiency and cost-effectiveness for both #financialprofessionals and their clients.

Let me discuss a couple of the benefits of #digital Financial Planning and advice on increased efficiency and better #worklifebalance to ensure #selfcare for financial professionals to allow them to take care of their clients when it matters most.

One of the major benefits of the digital financial planning world is the ability for financial professionals to # #workanywhere as I have been doing successfully over the last 18 months and like I observed from Derek N.H. Notman, CFP® over many years. This allows for greater flexibility in scheduling and the ability to serve a wider range of #clients as we have become locally and internationally borderless. It also eliminates the need for costly #brickandmortar space and commutes, leading to cost savings for both financial professionals and their clients.

In addition to increased efficiency and cost-effectiveness, the shift to digital financial planning has also had a positive impact on self-care for financial professionals. The ability to work from home and work from anywhere and have a more flexible schedule has led to a better work-life balance as Dr. Travis G. Parry always advocate for financial professionals, and I for one can from experience highly recommend #wfa and #wfh. This, in turn, has led to a reduction in stress and burnout, resulting in better health and well-being for financial professionals and their clients.

The digital financial planning world also allows for a more comprehensive and personalized service. With the use of technology, financial professionals can now access and analyze a wealth of data, providing a more thorough and accurate analysis of a client's financial situation. This results in more effective financial planning and investment strategies, which ultimately benefit our clients.

Moreover, the use of virtual meetings and online tools has made communication and collaboration more seamless. Financial professionals can now connect with their clients from anywhere and at any time, allowing for more responsive service.

In conclusion, the shift to digital financial planning has brought about significant benefits for the financial services industry. The ability to work from anywhere, increased efficiency and cost-effectiveness, and a better work-life balance for financial professionals have all had a positive impact on the industry as a whole.

As technology continues to evolve, we can expect to see even more advancements in the digital financial planning world, further improving the services offered to clients and ultimately benefiting them and our Profession. I hope you are embracing our new world of digital planning and helping to raise the bar for our profession as Francois du Toit CFP® always say at the end of his show Propulsion.

Kobus, good article. You are so spot on once again. The technological revolution has led to the widespread adoption of new technologies, particularly in the fields of information technology and communication (Zoom). Covid also played a contributory role in speeding up the need to #wfh. This revolution has led to significant changes in the way we live and work, and has had a profound impact on many aspects of our society, including commerce, education, entertainment, and more. I too have embraced and love this movement.
