Benefits of incorporating your own Streaming LIVE & Podcast...

So there is this lady, Sarra.

Sarra Messili to be exact. I had a LinkedIn LIVE event with her on the power of having a podcast and a LinkedIn LIVE.

Well, I took care of the LinkedIn LIVE stuff and she addressed the Podcast creation and management.

It was an interesting conversation as I provided LinkedIn business services and had some overlap with her but had no idea how to manage my Podcast.

Now let's get down to the brass tax.

I started my LIVE ("The Troy Show") on LinkedIn to engage and reach as many of the right people as I could.

While my posts were "short-form" content, my LIVEs are "long-form".

The short form is so important to get small bits and bite-sized levels of goodness regularly. But the long-form content is where the "lurkers" often decide to buy from you. It is often the tipping point so to speak.

And it is not about you selling, it is about them buying. People decide to buy if they need what you have, they like you and they believe you.


What can I do with Streaming LIVEs and Podcasts?

Think "multiple marketing channels" X "multiple marketing channels." 🤯

Think "multiple marketing channels" X "multiple marketing channels."

Let me explain.

  1. 1x + ↓ = Create a LinkedIn LIVE
  2. 1x + ↓ = Creating a LIVE automatically creates a LinkedIn post
  3. 3x + ↓ = Add your other streaming channels (Facebook LIVE, YouTube LIVE, Twitter/X, Instagram or whatever)
  4. 2x + ↓ = Send to your email list + grow your email list (with people registering for the current event)
  5. 1x + ↓ = Create a LinkedIn Newsletter out of it
  6. 1x + ↓ = Create a post on LinkedIn about the event
  7. 3x Create short-form content for your social channels (YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc...)
  8. 2 x (#1 + #2+ #3+ #4+ #5+ #6+ #7) + ↓ = You have a guest speaker
  9. 4 x + ↓ = You have a Podcast (created from your LinkedIn Live) that will stream to your podcast platforms (Apple, Spotify, etc...).
  10. 1x + ↓ = Each podcast can be a website blog post.

20x or more
That is easily 20x times you can push to extend your reach from these examples only. It is a system.

The outcome is getting your brand, message, and services out their to more ideal clients.
