The Best Abs Exercise, Walk vs Run, and The Compounding Effect
“I’m glad I didn’t work out today”
Said no one. Ever.
You might or might not feel like getting your workout in today. Honestly, it is irrelevant.
You work out because it is good for you, because it feels good after, and because your future self will thank you for it.
Oh, and everyone around you.
So if you’re tempted to skip the last workout of the week…
This is your sign not to 😉
Here’s your 5-Minute Fitness Insider
1.- The Best Abs Exercise
Having great abs is not only a matter of aesthetics.
The core supports most of your daily movements, and having a strong one is one of the best ways to ensure you’re staying away from lower back pain, hip issues, and other mid-section injuries.
But many of the traditional abs exercises can be too hard or painful for everyone, especially if you already have some lower back issues.
Thankfully, there are other exercises that we can do to strengthen our core and develop our abs.
And the best one is the High To Low Climber.
This exercise not only targets the core from all angles, but it also helps you work on your balance, and let me tell you, it is a killer!
Give it a try and when your abs start to feel like a rock table, you can thank me later 😉

2.- Walk vs Run
When people talk about cardio, they automatically think of running.
But in certain contexts, especially if you haven’t been a runner, it can come with more harm than good. The solution? Walking. Probably the most underestimate form of cardio and a GREAT way to burn some extra kcal. Here are some of its benefits:
3.- Compounding results
Warren Buffett, probably the most famous investor of all time, is worth 113 Billion dollars.
But the funny thing is that 110 of those 113 came after he turned 60 years old.
How can someone get such results? Easy, thanks to the compounding effect.
If you do something consistently for enough time, your results won’t just add up, they will start to compound.
If you work out today, you won’t see any visual changes in the mirror. But if you continue to consistently work out for over a year, your results will compound and you won’t even recognize yourself in the old pictures.
The name of the game is longevity.
The longer you stick to it, the most incredible the results will be. That’s why it is really important that from the first minute, you choose something you see yourself doing for the long haul.
If you can’t stick to it for 10 years, don’t do it for 10 days.
