Better Ventilation in Homes

Better Ventilation in Homes

We need to do better, and that includes providing the tools for non-experts to start holding this supply chain accountable.

I have been thinking about this for some time.

How do we share the language of air quality and what good ventilation looks like in a way that empowers ordinary people involved in housing to drive better outcomes?

What framework or toolkit would they need to hold the supply chain accountable?

For the last year, I have been delivering a half-day workshop focused on housing providers, particularly the asset management functions in housing, and it has been great.

In this, I started developing some plain English frameworks around ventilation and air quality and have received some great feedback.

So, in this training/toolkit I have gone further.

I wanted to boil it down even further for everyone else.

  • What is air quality, and how do we define it? What does good look like?
  • What is ventilation at its basic level, and how do the various systems work?

But also, could we rethink what ordinary people need to start driving better outcomes? Could we rethink a perspective that would empower accountability in the process?

So, in this, we look at

  • What is ventilation performance
  • How is it measured
  • An approach to hold the supply chain accountable.

We also take a brief look at air quality monitoring and strategy.

So here it is: "Better Ventilation in Homes" out this week, with a 60% discount running until the end of August. €46.80
