Hey Leanne! Great to have you, how has your day been so far?

I’m in the kitchen with my kids making breakfast and managing their different eating habits! Ha! My youngest is 2 and is the picky eater. He would live off muffins if he could.

Lets start off with a little bit about you and your background first, can you tell us?

I would sum myself up as a student of spirituality, truth and life force. I am an entrepreneur at heart for sure and someone who deeply requires freedom in life. I like to jump on a plane and hit a beach or a spa whenever I want. I have set up my life so I can take a sabbatical at any time and have complete ownership over my schedule and what I commit to.

My priorities in life are my health and my family and friends. I do have a tendency to get sucked into the busy business vortex from time to time but I have learned how to switch gears very quickly. On a daily basis (with the occasional break or travel day), I make sure juicing, yoga, walking and lots of time with my hubby are my priorities. Now that I am a mom to 4 kids, I am less obsessed with a to-do list and scheduling and more intentional about setting 3 juicy dream goals each day. My book ‘Beautiful Money’ is truly my story and my learnings in life, leverage and leadership thus far in my life.

What is a normal day for you like?

I am less and less a chronos person. There are no clocks in my house and I don’t wear a watch. I focus more on my inner landscape and excellence. I do of course have a cell phone which guides me to where I need to be (so I of course aim to always be timely). My husband and I take and pick up our kids to school each day and work to fit in a yoga class during the day. We often have breakfast or lunch together. My work time is integrated into my lifestyle so I don’t really have specific ‘working hours’. I was specific and strategic in my twenties about creating a business that was based and fuelled by my lifestyle and my skills. Speaking, writing, connecting and mentoring fuel my business hours and are truly who I am. Evenings are pure chaotic bliss. Negotiating healthy food for dinner and getting to activities for the kids on time is where we are at right now in our life. My kids are my teachers. I asked for more patience- so I got 4 kids!

Has the wellness industry always been a keen career choice for you?

I grew up playing competitive soccer so I would say yes. I started playing competitive soccer at a young age and fitness was just part of my life. In my twenties, I got the marathon bug and started running marathons. I would say fitness has always been part of my life but holistic health and wellbeing started in my thirties. I have been a student of life force energetics and what it means to feel truly in harmony ever since.

What has the journey been like so far?

Very honest and revealing.Like my yoga teacher said last night ‘your breath is your guide. Your body is your teacher’. That has been my experience. My mentor said that all disorder in life is a result of poor breathing. I have found this to be true. I have instant karma so when I do something that is not in alignment with Universal law, I get an instant hit on the head. This has been a blessing as it keeps me real. I would say my journey has kept me humble and very aware that we are not in control of much.

What gives you ultimate career satisfaction?

I consider myself a spark-plug. I am often told that something I have said during a workshop or event has inspired someone to make a shift or take action. I often get tears which is very special. It means I have deeply connected with someone’s soul which I think is the greatest gift. I am a guide and a mentor. Having the opportunity to do this globally with my family by my side makes me feel complete.

What does success look like to you?

Deep peace and happiness is my dreamy version of success.

You are also the mother of 4 wonderful children, how do you find time to balance yourself?

I have become really great at filtering what is truly important in life and what is not. Reading Steven Covey is my twenties prepared me for being really great at time excellence and prioritising. I do a lot less non-revenue generating

and non-aligned activities these days. If the activity isn’t aligned with one of my core values, I don’t do it unless my accountant makes me.

Congratulations on your book Beautiful Money, what ignited the fire to become an author?

When I was 28 I wrote an intention statement that I had a desire to be an author. I had no idea what the subject would be but I wrote it down. It is in my cells to mentor at a high level. Even when I stumble or when doubts creep into my head, I know it is truth for me to serve globally. I knew a book would be a part of that process. Authenticity is at the core of my being so writing a book that is genuinely based on what I have experienced in life was a simple choice. My experiences in spirituality, wellbeing, wealth, business and femininity were combined in a book about true wealth (money is a great metric).

What is on the horizon for 2018?

I will be speaking live more often and will be running my Beautiful Money Workshop (1-day event) in major cities internationally. My book will also be released in Asia which is so fun. Lots of yoga is also in store. I am considering doing a little yoga teaching next year as well. My husband and I are also in development phase for a wellbeing/detox/healing centre in costa rica. Stay tuned for more!

Lastly, how do you believe successful women should empower each other more?

More genuine love without expectation. Loving people and supporting people without expecting a tweet, post or client in return. Just trusting that all is well and that gorgeous abundance is there for every single one of us. Less forcing and more flowing in life and in business. I feel that stepping more graciously into our feminine energy will serve us so well moving forward.
