THE BIG BANG THEORY COMMUNITY

The Big Bang Theory is one of America's best comedy TV series ever made. Curated by Chuck Lorre and Bill Prady, the big bang theory's pilot episode aired on September 24, 2007. The show lasted for over 12 years airing 279 episodes over 12 seasons.

Now, what made the big bang theory so big?

BAZZINGA!

The story entails 5 main characters played by Jim Parsons, Johnny Galecki, Kaley Cuoco, Simon Helberg & Kunal Nayyar. The show has very vividly brought about the social awkwardness that people with different personalities face. The geeky boys have a hard time meddling in the not-so-normal, normal world. The show connected very well with the gaming community. The producers were well aware of the mutual interest of their target audience and they used that to their strength. The gaming culture, comic books, costumes, gaming events, etc are a very integral part of the whole story.

Another such move was the show being technical in terms of science. The on-point execution of the story and its scientific accuracy was something the whole scientific community also connected with. Entertainment lovers loved the sitcom due to Sheldon's low-lying sense of humor, his misunderstanding of sarcasm, and the outstanding performances by the rest of the cast. By indulging in science and gaming, the team connected with the segments of people that had never been taken into consideration before. The masses that looped in were commendable, the viewer base widened, and their community grew bigger and stronger, that's exactly what made The Big Bang Theory so big!

Wikipedia says," It was nominated for the Emmy Award for Outstanding Comedy Series from 2011 to 2014 and won the Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series four times for Parsons. In total, it won seven Emmy Awards from 46 nominations. Parsons also won the Golden Globe for Best Actor in a Television Comedy Series in 2011."

"The Big Bang Theory surpassed the 20 million viewer mark for a single episode with the Season 6 premiere, "The Bakersfield Expedition" (TV by the Numbers), Season 7 marked not only the first season to average more than 20 million viewers, but the highest per-episode average of viewers for the entire season," says the screen rant.

Over the years, this show has brought together people irrespective of their mindsets. The scientists, astronomers, gamers, neurologists, and pretty much most of the people who connected with it are a part of their community!
