Big Lots Gone Bankrupt

I was going to watch more videos about this company Big Lots so I can get more information on why they closed all of their stores and filed for bankruptcy protection but time has run on me in writing this article, so I will have to go buy observation even though this company isn't in Canada nor has had any plans in exploring the Canadian marketplace. But like some Macy stores, Big Lots closed a lot of their stores and filed for bankruptcy in the process and I will write why from one video that I watched of them.

Well, I think that they ran into some competition with stores that are in areas where the retail market was saturated. They probably weren't able to get any foot traffic into their stores due to the likes of maybe Walmart and Target. Or it is possible that they didn't really focus on selling one particular item and stretched themselves way too thin because most retailers tend to do that and as a result they lose track as to how they became successful in the first place and I think that has what happened to Big Lots.

Or could be that their pricing ended up becoming to costly for some items because most retailers like Nordstrom and Target ran into problems when they were operating in Canada and Big Lots in some states in the USA weren't doing very well. I will have to watch some videos on the company to get a wider view as to why they ended up bankrupt and disappeared from the American marketplace. But like most retailers that ended up bankrupt, Big Lots didn't really change with the times when it came to not just studying the marketplace but also changing when it needed to.

Hopefully that was enough of an observation but I will watch more videos about them and then maybe I will come back with a full article on the company.
