Bile Acid Improve Feed Utilization, Muscle Fatty Acid Composition
The effect of bile acids on the growth performance and fatty acid composition of Macrobrachium Rosenbergii
By adding 0.1% bile acids to the control group feed and conducting comparative experiments, the effects of bile acids on the growth, blood biochemical indicators, and body tissue fatty acid composition of Macrobrachium Rosenbergii were studied.
Experiment Result
The FCR of the experimental group was significantly lower than that of the control group (P<0.05); The crude fat content of the whole shrimp and muscle in the experimental group was significantly lower than that in the control group (P<0.05); The effect of bile acids on the fatty acid composition of Macrobrachium rosenbergii muscle was significant (P<0.05).
Bile acids can reduce the content of polyunsaturated fatty acids and high unsaturated fatty acids in the muscles and hepatopancreas of Macrobrachium rosenbergii, while increasing the content of saturated and monounsaturated fatty acids in the muscles and hepatopancreas.
Research has shown that bile acids can improve feed utilization efficiency and alter the fatty acid composition of Macrobrachium rosenbergii muscle.
