Boldly Ask

Today from Life is a Gold Mine Devotional

"Then Jesus said to her, 'Woman, you have great faith! Your request is granted.' And her daughter was healed at that moment" - Matthew 15:28.

If you have faith, it must make an impact on your prayer life. Here Jesus commended a Gentile woman who asked for her daughter's healing and would not be deterred when Jesus seemed to put her off. She pressed through in faith and she impressed (even astonished) Jesus with her faith just like the Gentile military officer did in Matthew 8:8-10.

What are you asking the Lord for in faith? Are you tentative in asking or boldly requesting? Are you pressing on and in even when it seems like God is ignoring or not answering? Until God says no, it's alright for you to keep on asking in faith.

Lord, I want to move You with my faith, not to get You to do what I want, but to make a statement that I trust You in every situation. I vow to make my prayer life more dynamic, in which I just don't make weak, lukewarm requests. but rather boldly petition You, the One who can do anything.

Boldly asking and thanking Him in advance for His perfect will being done. I was at ACAC a few years ago and you spoke and told us that no matter the question, Jesus is the answer. Since then I am living my life with my hand in his hand with total belief that He is guiding me every step of the way. Thank you for your obedience and your heart to serve. Blessings!!
