The Book Nook Club - let's read more together!

To all my fellow reading enthusiasts or those who are looking for inspiration to become one - I got you!

Let me introduce you to the Book Nook Club - a book club where we explore all kinds of non-fictional books. Books that are full of interesting and entertaining facts. Sometimes wholesome, sometimes morbid, sometimes random but always real.

Why I decided to start a virtual non-fiction book club

I love trivia and random facts; with fake news and all kinds of things happening in the world I wanted to create a space for us to escape - not into the fictional world but into the world of wholesome, entertaining and informative facts.

Our first book (see below) will be virtually discussed on Sunday, 5 April 2020, 8PM Hong Kong Time (GMT+8) so RSVP through our website www.thebooknookclub.com or sign up directly HERE. Head over to the website to also see where you can order this book as an e-book.

The first book we will discuss is called "Will my cat eat my eyeballs" by Caitlin Doughty

Why this book

Have you ever wondered what happens when you swallowed a bag of popcorn before you died and were cremated? Or if you can be buried in the same grave as your hamster? Or if you died making a stupid face, would it be stuck like that forever?

Glad you asked, this book got you covered - it's a candid book written by Caitlin Doughty, a mortician, answering the most common questions about death, dying and dead bodies asked by children. While the questions are influenced by kids the answers are scientific yet hilarious.

Read more about why I started this club HERE.

In case you can't join this time don't worry - moving forward we will discuss one book bi-weekly on Sunday eve.
