Book today Meet Eat Debate

This year is the 5th birthday of Meet & Eat, so to mark the occasion, we're shaking things up a little with a new format and re-launching as Meet. Eat. Debate.

We'll still be meeting and eating in the Rossendale valley, but each event will now feature a topic which affects business, commerce and industry with a panel of experts who will share their knowledge, thoughts and experiences with you. You'll also have the opportunity to join the debate, ask questions and network with like-minded business people over breakfast.

Our next event will focus on international trade and will take place on Thursday 15 June from 8am - 10am at St Mary's Chambers, Rawtenstall, BB4 6QX.

  • The panellists who will be discussing international trade will be: Laurie Thomas, Managing Director of Blackburn-based Vision Support Services which supplies luxury, performance and specialist textiles to over 6,500 customers in 84 countries, including half the world's 10 biggest hotel chains
  • Mandy Lockett, International Business Director at the East Lancashire Chamber of Commerce, who, with her team, provides a wealth of guidance to Lancashire's international traders
  • Morgan Rothwell, Director of D&M Creative Ltd in Burnley, which provides a broad range of creatively driven projects; including corporate identity, website design, branding and advertising to clients all across Europe and in Australia and the US.

The panel will be hosted by Les Nutter, Managing Partner of Cassons.

Tickets cost £15 including breakfast. Click here to book your tickets or for more information. And don't forget to follow our new Facebook page!

We'll look forward to seeing you there!

Meet. Eat. Debate. is hosted by East Lancashire Chamber of Commerce,Cassons chartered accountants and VIVA PR.
