Bragg’s Case against Trump Has a U.S. Constitution Problem
In National Review, Robert Delahunty and I raise a constitutional obstacle to the possible prosecution of Donald Trump by the NY district attorney: the Constitution does not permit state officers to enforce federal law (here the federal campaign finance laws) because they are not subject to presidential control and removal.
