Bransty, Whitehaven

This bank holiday weekend I enjoyed a visit to the Pedlar in the relatively recently developed Bus Station at Bransty, Whitehaven and was able to check up on how the planting was establishing on the small 'pocket park' area of the junction improvement scheme completed here a couple of years ago. We proposed local red St Bee's sandstone walling and bespoke planters with a combination of ornamental grasses, perennials and shrubs to provide seasonal interest, wildlife value and plenty of movement in the coastal winds. Glad to see it looking so well!

Great pics, Rosie. Nice to see the public realm materials and planting looking so good a couple of years later.
