🌍Breaking Business Records-Top Reflections from Hilda Baci’s Guinness World Record Cookathon

Prepare to be captivated by the remarkable story of Hilda Baci, a young Nigerian lady whose culinary journey has taken the world by storm. Hilda, with her unyielding determination and unwavering spirit, has not only shattered the Guinness World Book of Records for the longest cooking marathon but has also inspired her continent and country to dream big!

In a world where mediocrity often reigns, both in business and in life in general, Hilda dared to dream bigger.

From the humble beginnings of her kitchen and winning regional Jollof rice wars, she has risen to conquer the unimaginable by embarking on a jaw-dropping cooking marathon that lasted beyond all expectations! She broke the existing record of 87 hours 45 minutes and set her own new record of 100 hours 40 minutes

Being a leader who works with principles, I’ll like to share some of the top reflections from Hilda Baci’s Guinness Record Cookathon.

This is because Success can only be replicated when the underlying principles are conceived and acted upon.

🌍 Reflection 1: Take an audit of your environment 

Hilda's extraordinary success did not occur in isolation. She meticulously crafted her circle of success,  ie her mum, her fitness trainer, her media team, team of friends and supporters etc. 

Take an audit of the environment you find yourself in. Are the people around you content with their current levels? Surround yourself with an environment where mega dreams are permitted and encouraged. Be mindful of who you watch and what you look at.

Hilda intentionally surrounded herself with individuals who fueled her desires and elevated her dreams.  

Does your current environment nurture your growth and encourage you to go beyond the norm? 

Who are the people you surround yourself with? 

Do they inspire you to pursue greatness or hinder your progress?

Are they content with their level of progress? Thus rubbing that off on you?

🌍 Reflection 2: The Power of Dreams and Desire 

Hilda's journey is a testament to the transformative power of dreams and desire. I personally believe that her unwavering desire to leave a lasting global footprint in the culinary world propelled her to take action despite any obstacles. She understood that dreams alone are not enough; it is the relentless pursuit and unwavering commitment that bring them to life.

She understood the power of global recognition and the doors it could open. Although she had won a regional Jollof rice war before now, she decided to upgrade.

I also took about 24 women to UK to attend "Unleash the power within" by Tony Robbins.

I have made major decisions in my career such as these ones and many others because I understand the power of global penetration and the rewards it brings.

🌍 Reflection 4: Build the Right Environment, If you Naturally do not have one: Reflection one already exposed us to the need for an environmental audit. If after your audit, you discover that your environment doesn't match up, then you need to intentionally FIND one. 

Whether you find these environments in books, trainings, conferences, or business clubs, immerse yourself in environments that fuel your growth, or your growth trajectory risks being stifled over time.
