The Brexit Mess

Dear people of Great Britain we stand at the gates of our country and peoples future. I am 56 years old and to me no matter what I say think or feel the future is about are children and grandchildren today. It’s about our children, grandchildren and great grandchildren yet to be borne.

If you voted leave or remain it is irrelevant every single person that is part of the UK deserves the truth from our politicians. Every single person in this country should not be a political power advantage for any political party or movement with power, money or egos to for fill.   

To me it does not matter if your English, Scottish, Welsh, Irish, Gibraltarian or live in the Channel Islands, Isles of Man or an Ex-Pat living in the EU or in any country in the world. Everyone has to have a say on the future of the UK now more than ever! This should include all Europeans that live and work in the UK and includes everyone over 16 years old.

Forget what you want to call it and forget the referendum this country needs to heal its self-based on truth, honesty and justice for all. Personally I am sick to the back teeth of being lied to by politicians that just seek power at any cost and most of all when it divides and embitters the people of are great country.

To me we just have to be honest if we want to leave the EU we can do it but we have to give the nations of Great Britain the choice. Base on the truth that is we can leave with a two year window of remaining the same inside the customs union. But after this we have to have a hard board with Ireland and the EU and a trade deal. But we have to give the people of Scotland the opportunity to remain in the EU and the same for every other nation and territory we hold. I suggest that will leave England alone without the other nations of Great Britain. But so be it if that is what the people of England want it not for me to say.

So I suggest it’s time for truth it’s time to give every person a postal vote with an agreed set of truthful statements what the leave deal is and what the remain deal is so we have a vote on the facts. The media also should only report on the facts as well as politicians will only be allowed to talk about the agreed facts.

It also needs to double up as a referendum decision on independence for Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland and Gibraltar so they can have a real say for their future should England still vote the leave the EU.

Then we need a new government that will rebuild are nation and everything we stand for like the NHS, the rule of law and justice so we stop people being killed on are streets every day, we fight poverty, homelessness by having a new universal credit system and most of all we look at a new education system removing religion, hate and division at all levels in are schools, colleges and universities.

This is a democracy I want it to stay a democracy and a country for all the people not just the few so if you value what I have said it’s time to stop the madness and put the Brexit mess back to the people as both Mrs May and Mr Corbyn are fighting about power and ideology not about your futures, your children’s futures, your grandchildren’s futures and you great grandchildren’s futures.

I personal have nothing to gain out of asking every citizen of Great Britain to have a say on the truth and giving everyone in Great Britain the future they want to have as I believe that is true democracy.
