Bridgewater College Tragedy

Bridgewater College Tragedy

On behalf of our team at the Whistleblower Anti-Bullying Resource Network (WARN), I absolutely condemn the recent killing of public safety officers John Painter and JJ Jefferson, at Bridgewater College. It was a deranged and cowardly act.

At WARN, we are neither "pro-law enforcement" nor "anti-law enforcement." We stand for human rights - which includes the rights of citizens to be treated justly by police officers, as well as the rights of police officers to be afforded human dignity while performing their sworn duties.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the respective families of the slain officers. Indeed, this is a sad beginning of the new year, and a sad commentary on gun proliferation in America.
