Bridging Realities

Bridging Realities

Each of my feet is standing in a different reality.

I live in the present moment, but also as my goal-achieved self.

The law of assumption states we must feel from the future desired state in order to live it in the present.

As I get clearer on my goal achieved self through visualization meditation and autosuggestion, the path forward presents itself. At first, having faith and believing it to be true can be difficult. But I have found this technique of bridging those two realities to be incredibly powerful.

Here's how

I have learned that I can state, write, or think of my goal achieved self in a certain way. One in which the statement is true for both realities, to varying degrees.

For example:

I am the happiest I have ever been in my life.

This is a true statement that I presently feel and believe to be entirely true. However, in the future, I both assume and know that I will be happier as I achieve all that I set out to achieve - that I have let go of more stress from my life and can live fully in the present moment.

This statement is true in both instances. It is an undeniable truth in both the present and future moments. My belief strengthens in my ability to manifest that desired state as a result. I bring those two realities closer together until they eventually become one and the same.

The best time to practice this is when I'm gratitude journaling at night. I write at least 3 things I'm grateful for from the future. It can be at any point in the future. Lately I've been focused on the short term but sometimes it's incredibly far out. Occasionally as far as my deathbed : )

For example, the other night I wrote:

I am grateful I achieved all of my goals this week - the new daily OS is fire! This is working better than I could have ever imagined!

  • I had just come up with an idea for an update to my daily operating system - the way in which I plan and manage my day and priorities. I was referring to the impact it had on my week, speaking from the end of the week, but it resonated with me in the present moment because the idea itself excited me.
  • As a result, I had achieved all the goals I set out for myself by the end of the week. But in that present moment, I had also achieved my goals to date. Once again being a truth in both realities and reaffirming my belief, giving me faith.

By bridging these two realities, especially in the short term (less than a week out), I was able to successfully manifest that outcome. I did achieve all of my goals and I made better progress than I originally anticipated : )

This has been a really fun exercise and I try to implement it as often as I can! Give it a try and let me know how it goes - what are 3 things you are grateful for?
