Bridging Worlds Through Words: Connecting EU and UK Publishing with the Brazilian Market

Bridging Worlds Through Words: Connecting EU and UK Publishing with the Brazilian Market

🌟 Exciting Announcement! 🌟 (in Portuguese below)

I’ve always believed that communication is the bridge connecting all worlds. It’s about language and images, but also stories and knowledge. For over 25 years, I’ve been privileged to publish in the UK, collaborating with French and Italian publishers, and now working with Dutch ones from my base in Amsterdam.

But nothing excites me more than connecting our local industry in the EU with the thriving Brazilian market. I believe that exchange fosters growth and leads to a more global perspective. In publishing and tech, we’re united as one media, and we must think globally and act together. So, how can we support one another? For my part, I aim to share information and knowledge, bringing inspiring discussions to the table.

With this in mind, I’m thrilled to announce that I’ll be dispatching updates from the EU and UK press to our friends and partners at ANER - Associação Nacional de Editores de Revistas (the Brazilian Magazine Publishers Association). This opportunity, thanks to Regina Bucco , Rafael Menin Soriano , and the editorial guidance of Marcia Miranda , feels like a destined encounter that can create magic if we embrace it. We share common goals, a passion for print, paper, and magazines, and a genuine eagerness to exchange opportunities.

I am humbled, honoured, and excited to contribute to the incredible work being done in the Brazilian press. Check out the link to my first article about the FIPP - Connecting Global Media in Cascais in the comments, with more insights to come over the next few days – because one newsletter simply can’t capture all the inspiration from the event. And if you know me, I’m never short on words!
