The Brilliance Of The Bang Average
Hey There Folks!
Welcome to the first installment of my LinkedIn newsletter - even if it isn't technically a newsletter yet.
It's time to start sharing with you, the stuff that doesn’t make it to the feed. Don't get me wrong, I love to post on the feed, but sometimes I like to go a little deeper and it’s much better received by those who actively want to get involved.
I’ve always been someone who loves self-exploration.
I love psychology, science and of course fitness. Oftentimes, I'm trying things out in practice then doubling back to do the deeper research once I’ve tried it out.
It's why I’ve worked with clients in the past who have been surprised (pleasantly) when I take a different approach to the solution to their problem than they expect.
Fitness and nutrition themselves are often wildly oversimplified or generalised so that they can be packaged and sold. This means lots of customers have been left feeling deflated, frustrated and somehow defective. All because they can’t achieve their goals through a method that wasn’t built for them.
It’s my aim with this newsletter to help you explore some ideas and methods that you might not have tried as I work through a new level of personal and professional study.
Being a neurodivergent PT, I often explore avenues and approaches to achieving wellbeing and the associated goals by going outside of the box - I want to take you guys with me.
Much of my own fitness achievements have come from clever planning that involves doing less, resting more and making things LESS complicated.
I’m really excited to share with you, basically, all of the random-but- not-actually-so-random trails of thought that seem to come to me.
Wellbeing is something that has interested me for such a long time - I took part in the practice before I even knew what it was. Unfortunately, the term ‘wellbeing’ and the term ‘Personal Trainer’, have become plagued and tainted by shady practice and weird powders, potions and solutions… Solutions that weren’t actually solutions at all.
I’m hoping that in following what I share here with you that you can repair your idea and associations of wellbeing and personal training. I’m not going to preach to you what you should or shouldn’t do, the way I love to work is to give you information that you can take what you need and leave the rest.
Wellbeing is a personal endeavour.
What works for me may not work for you, what you enjoy may be different to what someone else does. However, by exploring different options you can build something that supports you.

Your power lies within learning to trust your own decisions again; learning to listen to and trust the signals your body and mind give you. It’s a practice. It won’t happen overnight and you’ll need to get really good a failing.
Being an intuitively led person, I can’t give you an outlined promise of what to expect, but know that you are welcome to unsubscribe at any point you so wish.
