Bringing Hope to San Fernando de Cutris: Delivery of Magic Straws for Access to Safe Water

In the northern region of Costa Rica, in the Province of Alajuela, lies a village called San Fernando de Cutris, home to approximately 15,000 people. Access to safe water is limited here.

The children attending the local school face the challenge of drinking water from the river or the same water given to animals, which leads to a range of stomach problems. Ms. Sandra, the school's kitchen supervisor, stated that a significant number of the school children complained daily of pain due to the water they consumed.

Last week we journeyed there to make a difference by delivering Magic Straws, providing them with access to safe drinking water. The delivery of Magic Straws marks a crucial advancement in our endeavor to improve the living conditions of communities struggling with safe water access. In San Fernando de Cutris, where water access is scarce and conditions are challenging, we understand that each Magic Straw provided will make a genuine difference in the health and well-being of its residents.

We remain committed to our global efforts, extending safe water access and bringing hope to communities like San Fernando de Cutris. We extend our gratitude to all collaborators, donors, and partners who enable each Magic Straw to become a tool for change and progress.

We are working community by community, Magic Straw by Magic Straw, to reach this vision. Together, we are forging a future where all can enjoy safe water and a healthier life.
