Building professional reputation
Someone recently asked me how can anyone build their professional reputation. Their question got me thinking and based on my experience I answered :-
Always be 10 minutes early for your appointment.
Dress sharp.
Keep your word. Your word is your bond. Be dependable.
Maintain proper Personal hygiene.
Smile.
Have an upbeat attitude.
Give compliment.
Be generous with Sorry, Thankyou and please. Mind your manners.
Be grateful.
Add value. Make someone’s day without expecting anything in return.
Offer help.
Don’t gossip
Don’t criticize, complain or condemn
Under promise over deliver
Always uplift others.
Be a solution-oriented.
Do unto others what you would want them to do unto you.
Careful about what you write on social media, it stays there forever.
We don’t have to verbalize everything which comes to our mind. Use a coffee filter before speaking.
