Building Your Pack—In Business and Beyond

Building Your Pack—In Business and Beyond

Summer is all about connections—whether it’s with friends, family, or your professional network. Over the past few months, I’ve had the privilege of working with some truly inspiring organizations, and I’ve seen firsthand how powerful a strong support system can be.

Take PathForward, for example. This Arlington-based nonprofit is doing incredible work to support our unhoused neighbors. Last year, I had the honor of emceeing their annual fundraiser, where we raised more than they ever expected. The energy in the room was electric, and the impact was tangible. This year, we took it up a notch, and I couldn’t be more proud of the results.

Another highlight was collaborating with Capital Caring Health. These folks have been around for nearly 50 years, and they’re still going strong! As an auctioneer, I’ve helped them raise crucial funds, and it’s always a joy to see the generosity of our community in action.

These experiences have reinforced something I’ve always believed: the right people can make all the difference, whether you’re planning an event, running a business, or just navigating life. As someone who’s been on both sides of the mic, I can tell you that having the right emcee can elevate your event to new heights. It’s about creating an atmosphere where people feel connected, engaged, and inspired to give.

So if you’re planning an event and looking for someone to lead the charge, I’m here to help. Let’s work together to make your next event unforgettable!

In the meantime, I’m off to Greece to recharge with family, soak up some sun and enjoy delicious Greek ice cream. Looking forward to catching up with you all when I’m back. Until then, keep building your pack, and remember: together, we can make a bigger impact than we ever could alone.
