Burnout, a platform for designers & do it anyway!
Roses are fine, but a happy team is divine.
Cheers to us this Valentine's!
Cliche festival? Yes I know, but I had to!
Hello, amazing people,
I'm excited to bring you another edition of our newsletter - Happiness At Work, packed with fresh insights, intriguing stories, and practical tips to brighten up your work life.
Let's dive into the world of workplace happiness and keep our journey of joy and discovery rolling!
Do. It. Anyway
I have been thinking about this for a while and the universe literally presented me with the article that literally said the same thing and its elaborative version - Do. It. Anyway.
We often look at some people and their career paths and think, oh, this work must be interesting, wish I could do such work that doesn't bore me. But I've yet to come across a job where 100% of their job is totally exciting ALL THE TIME! I don't think it exists. Quoting from the article - Inaction is always an option, and there certainly is value in rest and self-care. But it’s also important to acknowledge that we humans are comfort seekers. We’re programmed to seek the path of least resistance.
“The Magic you’re looking for is in the work you’re avoiding.” (Anonymous)
Yes, some days will be full of boredom and without any inspiration. But let's do it anyway. Get out of your head and into your body - is a mantra that can help us during such days! Things like movement, nature, and being around others synergistically provide the much-needed reboot and endorphin boost that are needed to keep going, especially on the hardest of days.
Showing up is the important first step. It not only gives us a sense of accomplishment but sets an example for ourselves! A moment we feel proud about.
Something about burnout -
