Business Development Managers

We are seeking Business Development Managers in Chicago. The role involves strategically prioritizing revenue growth in their designated territory, focusing on establishing new customer relationships, and nurturing existing clientele. This includes developing short and long-term plans with the management team to achieve company goals and build a strong, value-based brand with customers.

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for consistently increasing revenue by acquiring new business and expanding existing accounts. Preferably, candidates should have strong technical staffing experience in IT, although experience in Engineering will also be considered.

Education and Experience:

  • Recruiting experience highly preferred; technical background advantageous
  • Associate degree or bachelor’s degree in a relevant field preferred
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in servicing, supporting, developing, and generating new business and major accounts

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Extensive sales experience in a services environment preferred
  • Strong technical staffing experience, particularly in IT, preferred
  • Active participation in networking and niche IT organizations
  • Ability to meet weekly appointment activity and revenue growth targets
  • Regular communication with managers and internal staff to prioritize customer service and sales opportunities
  • Contribution to bids and proposals within assigned territory

Job Responsibilities:

  • Drive revenue growth through new business acquisition and existing account expansion
  • Collaborate with recruiting teams to fulfill customer requisitions
  • Maintain data integrity and consistency
  • Conduct qualification calls to understand job requirements and company culture for accurate candidate matching
  • Research potential new business opportunities and engage with current customers
  • Ensure timely and accurate entry of sales data into V-Soft’s CRM and other systems
  • Focus business development efforts in alignment with regional and national strategies
  • Develop and maintain business plans using CRM tools, targeting new accounts and fully mapping territories and calendars
