Business lessons to learn from lion heart the movie

Nearly every young Nigerian I know has seen the Nigerian film "Lionheart."

To get us on the same page if you haven't seen the movie, let me quickly do a recap of it.

In the movie Lionheart, the daughter takes on the challenge of managing her father's transportation business while he was ill.

The father requested that his brother take over and that his daughter provide a hand. During the process, it became evident that the business was in debt and that both parties needed to propose a way to pay it off; otherwise, they risked losing it to a rival businessman who was willing to buy them out.

They have a set amount of time to pay back the debt. The daughter made the decision to enter the park one day when she was in the middle of her morning routine with her chaperone.

She immediately requested an urgent meeting, and after speaking with the drivers, she realized they needed small buses but lacked the funds to buy them.

Fortunately for her, her uncle alerted her to the existence of another significant transport company in the north that required a connection in order to enter the east.

They had a connection with the other company that needed to enter the east, but they also required the funds from the other company. To make a merger proposal, they had to travel to the north.

They ran into a number of obstacles along the way, making it appear difficult at first, but it eventually worked out.

No matter the position you find yourself in or how impossible it seems, there is always a way, which is one thing I took away from this film.

Although it seemed impossible for the daughter to obtain the new fleet of mini buses, there was progress because she had an open mind.

Yes, you will face trials, tests, and being flung into the arms of hopelessness. As a businessperson, there are times when you'll want to give up, particularly if you're operating in a place like Nigeria where you have to deal with new difficulties every day.

As a businessperson, being open to new ideas and ways of thinking has boosted my success and improved how I manage my company. You can't do the thinking all the time and expect to advance.

This is the reasoning behind the notion that everything has its own season and that you cannot manage your company on your own forever.

You must expand your capability if you want to grow a profitable business. The appropriate personnel are key to the success of your company.

If the CEO's daughter had an uncle who was not enthusiastic about the company's expansion and if the daughter had not been open to new ideas or had believed she could handle everything on her own, they might have lost the company.

To succeed in business, you need other people, and keep in mind that you trying to handle it all on your own might hinder the growth of your organization.

Find your own people and grow with them.

Until next time,
