The term Business Partner was launched by David Ulrich in 1998, setting the HR professional who acts as the partner that and helps organizations achieve their business goals. However, there are still many questions about the duties of this professional.

In order for this contribution to be effective, HR professionals need to be closer to the areas and be expert of the business and the market, so, that they need intelligent and differentiated solutions, acting as HR internal Consultants also known as a Business Partner.

Among the main functions of the Internal HR Consultant I can highlight:

* Transform strategies into effective action, monitoring and measuring results;

* Adjust HR plans to the company;

* Answering and its stakeholders: investors, employees, customers. Acting not only in “put out fires” without analyzing how much such actions help or hinder organizational strategy;

* Help the company to create specific training & development programs;

* Development suitable for professionals teams and leaders;

* Tracking the development of leaders and professional;

* Increasing the good results;

* Help the company to renovate the values, mission and vision of the future according the market and the innovations of the world;

Characteristics of this professional:

* Analytical;

* Work well under pressure;

* Team worker;

* Good communicator;

* Good to solve problems;

* Committed;

* Focused.
