PFAS RELATED CORPORATE NEWS FROM SEC FILINGS AND EARNINGS CALLS DURING THE LAST WEEK

BION ENVIRONMENTAL TECHNOLOGIES INC (BNET)

Bion Environmental Technologies Inc. discuss their potential business markets for the upcoming year. They note that the municipal wastewater treatment area is a complex area owing to the wide variety of components/ contaminants in the waste stream, including PFAS (dissolved from plastics) and other chemicals. The company would need to conduct extensive pilots and trials prior to entering the municipal space. Also, a strategic engineering partner with municipal experience would be critical to success in this space.

Ethan Allen Interiors Inc (ETD) as part of ongoing corporate goal of becoming more environmentally friendly during the next year have committed, where and when reasonably feasible, to be PFAS-free throughout our products including area rugs, broadloom, draperies, and fabrics.

KLA Corp notes current and proposed restrictions on per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (“PFAS”) may negatively impact our supply chain due to potentially decreased availability, or non-availability, of PFAS-containing products or commercially feasible alternatives.
