We've had an incredibly busy month gearing up for the Northern Ireland Manufacturing & Supply Chain Exhibition on 12th September, while also celebrating our recent Medical ISO 13485 accreditation. Amidst all this, we're thrilled to highlight Karolina's 5-year milestone at Cutting Industries, where her dedication and expertise continue to be invaluable.

Behind the Scenes of our ISO 13485 Audit

Achieving ISO certification is no small feat, and we are thrilled to announce that we have finally earned our Medical ISO 13485 certification! This accomplishment has been on our radar for the past few years. Still, a series of expected events, including the global pandemic, significant changes within our company, and operational challenges, led us to put this goal on the back burner. After months of meticulous planning, weeks of intensive preparations, and three gruelling days of audit scrutiny, we are proud to share that we received our ISO 13485 certification with no recommendations for improvement.

Claire and our consultant, David, were instrumental in guiding us through the complex ISO 13485 certification process. Claire, our project lead, exhibited unparalleled dedication by meticulously managing the audit preparations and ensuring every detail aligned with ISO requirements. I can't thank Claire enough for handling this.

Also our Team - during the final stages of the audit, our team exhibited exceptional dedication and resilience. While I was away in Tenerife (during audit time - i know,my bad) they stepped up to ensure everything was in impeccable order for the auditor's visit. Their relentless efforts in preparing and maintaining a calm, focused environment were truly commendable.

Karolina's 5 Years of Dedication: From Team Player to Lead Medical Operative

Since joining us in 2019, Karolina has been a remarkable addition to Cutting Industries. She started as an operative on our CNC machine and has grown into the role of Lead Medical Operator, training others and taking charge of important projects.

In the past 5 years, Karolina also embraced motherhood and balanced her career and family life beautifully. We're immensely proud of all she has achieved and grateful for the day she walked in for that interview and wowed Michael.
