Day 1: Move to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park for gorilla trekking

Have an early morning breakfast then be picked up by the driver / tour guide who will first brief you on what your 3 days Bwindi gorilla trekking and Lake Bunyonyi luxury tour covers then start the journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park which is in southwestern Uganda. Drive from Entebbe or Kampala via Masaka-Mbarara-Kabale route and have a stopover at the Equator for photography and at Igongo cultural center for lunch then proceed to Bwindi National Park where you will check in at a lodge of your choice for overnight stay, relaxation and dinner.

Day 2:Bwindi Gorilla trekking and Batwa encounter then Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi

Have early morning breakfast at your respective lodge and after transfer to the park offices for briefing on the set guidelines for the gorilla trekking. One must make sure they move along with long sleeved shirt/t-shirt, trouser, socks, hiking boots, bottled water and energy giving snacks. After the briefing you will be assigned to one habituated family to track in a group of 8 visitors. The gorilla families that will be trekked in Bwindi National Park include Mucunguzi, Kutu, Rwigi, Nshongi, Kyaguriro, Mubare, Habinyanja, Rushegura, Kahungye, Busingye, Mishaya, Bweza, Katwe, Christmas, Nkuringo, Bushaho, Bikingi, Oruzogo, Bitukura and Mukiza. At 8:00am, you will commence with your primate adventure trek with a park ranger guide and it will last for2-6 hours depending on your hiking speed, location of gorillas and nature of habitat. A maximum of one hour is given to be with the gorillas and also have opportunity to take as many photos as possible. Lunch will be had en-route then get back to the lodge to rest and in the evening visit the Batwa community for a cultural experience and later transfer to Lake Bunyonyi for your next tour.

 Day 3: Take a Boat ride on Lake Bunyonyi

Have early morning breakfast and later head out for a boat cruise on Lake Bunyonyi which is one of the most scenic Lakes and the deepest in Africa with about 29 islands. A boat ride along Lake Bunyonyi will get you a chance to catch a glimpse at the dotted islands and also look out at the unique birds found on this Crater Lake you will have lunch en-route after which you will return to the lodge and set off for Entebbe via Kampala for departure and end of tour.
