Spending is easy right and most of us love it!
As soon as we get a little extra cash we're looking for a place to spend it!
But what is it costing you?
See the difference is that when you spend you usually do not get a return on your investment and that's because most spending is an emotional activity.
But when you invest you engage your intellect and expectations are such that you will end up having more money coming back in than originally went out!
So the big question is what has it cost you over the years to be more of a spender than an investor?
Now don't get me wrong because my passion is boats and in fact I stopped counting boats after I reached boat number #36.
I can't begin to tell you how many hundreds of thousands of dollars I have spent on having a boat.
A couple of years ago I spent $56,000.00 on just one engine rebuild so do you think I will get that back as if I invested it?
Let me answer that from experience - No lol.
But it does provide us with a lifestyle that my partner and I find most enjoyable but it comes with a price tag.
Could we have invested our money more wisely?
Clearly the answer is Yes.
So spend or Invest it's up to you but either way money goes out but the decision you make will determine how much comes back in 😉
