Calling all CEOs back to school . . .

Calling all CEOs back to school . . .

WHY

For some of us, being an elementary school student was a long time ago. It may have even been a long time ago that our children were in elementary school. We may have heard things about public schools today that give us pause and concern. As community leaders, we have a responsibility to learn and understand what is happening in our public schools which are so critical to the prosperity of the region.

HOW

CEOs in Schools offers you an easy way to experience the inner workings of a Hillsborough County Public Schools elementary school. By connecting with the school principal (i.e., school CEO) you can plan a day filled with educational opportunities for you. From greeting students during the morning show announcements, participating in teacher planning sessions, discussing cafeteria and other school operations, to engaging with students and more, CEOs who spend a day in a school gain an understanding of the challenges and the successes of the dedicated professionals who are committed to educating and caring for our future leaders.

WHAT

It’s simple to participate. Your commitment is only to spend November 1, 2024 (or another day convenient for you and your principal) observing, learning and engaging. What you do after that day is up to you. Select a school at Get Involved - CEOs in Schools (1dayofchange.com) and connect with your principal to plan your day.

Our students are counting on us to ensure their schools can help prepare them for life and success. As business leaders, let’s take up that challenge. I’ll see you at school on November 1, 2024!

Great insights Brian Butler. Programs like #CEOsInSchools create such valuable connections between business leaders and the educational community. It's fantastic to see #TampaBayLeaders investing their time in shaping young minds.
