Louis Vuitton Names Megan Grant President and CEO, Americas
Louis Vuitton is getting a new president and CEO of Americas next month.
Megan Grant will take on the top title starting June 3. Grant was previously head of L'Oréal's USA luxe division. In her new role, Grant will report to David Ponzo, executive vice president of commercial activities, according to a memo obtained by WWD, and will be based in New York.
“Throughout her 22-year tenure with L’Oréal, she held numerous leadership roles in marketing and retail across a multitude of brands within the organization, showcasing her exceptional skills in marketing, retail, customer acquisition, digital strategy and consumer products,” the memo stated. “Megan’s diverse background, paired with her shared values of innovation and excellence, will ensure the continued advancement of Louis Vuitton Americas.”

EXCLUSIVE: Calvin Klein Taps Veronica Leoni Creative Director of Collection, Signaling a Return to the Runway
Calvin Klein is making its way back into the Collection business following a five-year hiatus.
The company, which is part of PVH Corp., has named Veronica Leoni creative director of Collection, signaling a return to the runway in 2025. The appointment is effective Thursday, and she begins in September.

The Collection will include women’s and men’s apparel, underwear and accessories, which will debut with fall 2025.

Carolina Herrera to Stage Resort Show in Mexico City in November
Carolina Herrera will stage its resort runway show in Mexico City on Nov. 14 — the second destination show for the luxury brand.
The Mexico City show, under the direction of Wes Gordon, Herrera’s creative director, will be the first time the house will be presenting a collection aligned with the in-store calendar.
The show is slated to be held at a soon-to-be announced location, following the regularly scheduled spring fashion show as part of New York Fashion Week in September.
