September is National Service Dog Month!

New PSA With Eukanuba

Canine Companions is thrilled to announce a new public service announcement in celebration of National Service Dog Month! Created in partnership with long-time national partner Eukanuba, the video, “Help Them Meet Their Match Sooner,” tells the story of Kya, a pre-law college student living with arthrogryposis multiplex congenita and the training and placement of her Canine Companions service dog, Sprinkle. Learn more and watch the video.

Making It Official!

Thanks to our proactive community members across the country, numerous cities and states have officially declared September as National Service Dog Month! This is a huge step forward in highlighting awareness about service dogs and the life-changing impact they bring to people with disabilities. Ensuring service dog rights are promoted and protected, these proclamations are also indicators of increased inclusivity. View locations that have made proclamations so far.
