Carbon Clean Expands in North America to Meet Booming Demand for Carbon Capture Technology

Carbon Clean, a leading global carbon capture solutions business, has announced its expansion in North America to meet the booming demand for its carbon capture technology. The company has opened its US headquarters in Houston, Texas and will double its US headcount to meet the demand for CycloneCC, its fully modular technology, which is expected to become its biggest market.

Carbon Clean, which is headquartered in the UK, provides cost-effective industrial carbon capture solutions for essential hard-to-abate industries like energy. Its technology is already in operation in 49 sites worldwide and has captured over 1.8 million tonnes of CO2.

The Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) is driving enormous demand for industrial carbon capture, resulting in a dramatic spike in US inquiries for Carbon Clean, up by over 64% since the passage of the IRA in August 2022. This act seeks to curb inflation by limiting carbon emissions from industries that are major contributors to greenhouse gas emissions.

The demand for carbon capture technology is rising, and the need for cost-effective solutions to combat climate change is becoming increasingly pressing. The Carbon Clean technology is not only efficient and affordable but also readily available, making it a crucial tool for industries looking to reduce their carbon footprint.

Carbon Clean's CycloneCC technology is fully modular, making it easy to install and operate. It can be scaled up or down depending on the needs of the user and is suitable for a wide range of industrial applications, including cement, steel, and chemical manufacturing.

The opening of the US headquarters in Houston, Texas, is a significant milestone for Carbon Clean, as it positions the company to meet the growing demand for carbon capture solutions in the US market. The company's expansion will not only create more job opportunities but also contribute to the reduction of carbon emissions in the US and globally.
