#CareerFocused Tip of the Month: Thriving Through Wellness: Unveiling the Power of Daily Integration

In this thing we all call life, I see time and time again how colleagues across our industry, deprioritize their wellbeing and health. They are rushing to the next thing on their to-do list and not investing time and energy into their well-being, consistently.

I think it's time for us all to accept, that our to-do list is never going to end. There's always going to be more to do.

I want to empower my community to find YOUR Wellness Lifestyle and integrate it consistently into your life.

The formal definition of WELLNESS is the act of practicing healthy habits on a daily basis to attain better physical and mental health outcomes so that instead of just surviving, you're thriving.

A 2x a year spa day, or meditating a few times a month just isn't cutting it. I want to share best practices of how I've integrated wellness into my lifestyle to feel INNER PEACE.

My Wind-Up routine:

  1. Set an intention for the day
  2. Put on my Spotify Morning Chill Playlist
  3. Warm Water and Face Wash to wake up
  4. Face Moisturizer & Cold Face Ice-Roller
  5. Apple Fitness Workout: My go-to's are HITT and Kickboxing

My Wind-down routine:

  1. Sleep is crucial to your overall wellbeing. Studies reveal that individuals who consistently get 7-9 hours of quality sleep per night demonstrate improved focus, enhanced problem-solving skills, and increased overall cognitive function. Quality sleep is not just a restorative measure; it's a key pillar in building a foundation for wellness and peak performance in your daily life. My go-to is the Valerian Root Vitamin.
  2. Eye heat compress while I listen to Headspace Sleep Mediations allows me to ease out of all my responsibilities and drift off to sleep.

The above daily integrations have allowed me to get a sense of clarity and inner peace to give the best version of myself to my family and the world.
