- Resume Writing: Today’s resume is a commercial of your talents, not just a list of past jobs. Learn how to highlight your skills, knowledge, and abilities so employers notice them. Discover what Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) are and how to write effective cover letters.
- So You Want to Work From Home: Discover which industries are hiring remote workers now, uncover the skill sets employers are looking for, learn where to find legitimate companies that hire remote employees, “virtually” meet professionals with experience in the remote environment, and get answers to your questions.
- LinkedIn: More than 75% of employees get hired through some element of networking. Learn ways you can use LinkedIn to network, to research your industry, research a company, and learn about job openings. Plus, get tips for elevating your LinkedIn profile.
- Top 10 Most Sought-After Skills Employers Are Looking For: Discover the skills that 95% of U.S. employers are seeking in potential employees. You may be surprised how many skills you already have. If you don’t have the skills, we will discuss how to learn them to set yourself apart.
- Computer Basics: Gain basic computer knowledge. Learn how to use the mouse, monitor, computer, and keyboard. You’ll also learn how to create documents, understand the toolbar, and copy and paste in Microsoft Word. Get more proficient with sending and receiving emails, and your setting up a username and password.
