In line with our key pillars: People, Operations, Products - this month we focus on caring for our broader communities, comparing label constructions with LCA's, and collaborating with our customers to come up with innovative solutions to unusual problems. Read on for more...
Coming together for a cause 🩷
Teammates across various MCC locations showed up in pink this Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
We love to see our sites showing support for the causes they care about and encourage this type of behavior across the globe.
Kudos to MCC Karydakis and MCC Tyrone for getting involved and raising awareness, and money, for a great cause!
The Role of Lifecycle Analysis (LCA) in Sustainable Labeling 🚰
At MCC, we understand that labels play a significant role in meeting our customers sustainability goals. A unique solution MCC offers our customers are conducting a Lifecycle Analysis (LCA), where we evaluate the environmental footprint of our products from raw materials to when they leave our facility—known as cradle-to-gate.
Our Label Impact report provides our customers a comparison of label constructions to learn the environmental impact of a potential label change.
Why an LCA Matters?
An LCA is an analysis of a product’s environmental impact across its entire life cycle. This enables MCC to assess everything from material choice to production processes, helping our customers make informed, sustainable decisions. Labels may be small, but they play a critical role in reducing a product’s carbon footprint, waste, and water usage.

Your partner in finding the best label solutions 📦
At MCC we strive to find solutions to our customers' needs, no matter how complex!
The customer was looking for a label that could have variable data handwritten in permanent marker. This would normally be straightforward enough, but a complex requirement was that this variable data needed to be protected as it would be exposed to a variety of external elements.
Working with MCC's technical team, several concepts were developed.
The final unique label that was created resulted in MCC being awarded the TLMI Best of Class for an industrial label!
Another great big thank you for catching up with us on this month’s updates. Is there something you’d like us to talk about in the next LabelTalk Link? Let us know.
