We Planted a Tree for Every Attendee at Accountex

On May 15-16, we attended Accountex, the leading accountancy and finance expo. It was a fantastic opportunity to connect with businesses and showcase the social and environmental impact Carma can help achieve through nature-based solutions.

However, it was a little different to before as both of our founders Iain and Jim attended together for the first time, making the event even more special for us as a company.

We received invaluable real-time feedback on our new app and products, helping us grow. Most notably, we planted a tree for every attendee, reinforcing Accountex's commitment to sustainability.

Upcoming Events For Your Calendar:

World Environment Day: 5th June This year’s World Environment Day campaign focuses on land restoration, desertification and drought resilience under the slogan “Our land. Our future. We are #GenerationRestoration.” You can help this environment day by planting trees or kelp to help restore our forests.

World Refill Day: 16th June: This is a global public awareness campaign to prevent plastic pollution and help people live with less waste. The aim of this campaign is to make people reuse as opposed to buy new. For example, buying a reusable water bottle as opposed to buying a plastic disposable one.

June is full of environmental days such as World Ocean Day, World Rainforest day and world day to combat desertification and drought. If you want to partake in these days you can find out more here.

However, you can also look at events now using our app! Just click the bell icon on your account to learn about upcoming events.
