A few of my favorite announcements for our team this year...

A pop-up window on the right side of the screen highlights the AWS Management Console Private Access feature, explaining that it's a secure endpoint for console access and management.

🔔 AWS User Notifications

What's New

Blog

Centralize your AWS notifications for services like Amazon S3, Amazon EC2, Amazon CloudWatch, AWS Health, and AWS Support in an easy-to-read format. Choose how you receive updates—through email, chat, or push notifications on the AWS Console Mobile App. Alternatively, access these notifications via the AWS Management Console by clicking the bell icon.

The image displays a collection of screenshots from various devices, each showing alerts from AWS User Notifications. These alerts signal a critical state or issue that demands attention. Multiple AWS User Notifications are shown with varying timestamps and particulars for each alert. The visuals come from mobile and desktop devices, indicating the multi-device capability of AWS User Notifications.

⌨️ Console Toolbar with AWS CloudShell

What's New

Seamless navigate between AWS Management Console and AWS CloudShell, allowing command execution and resource monitoring in one view. It retains its state across service navigation and aligns CloudShell with your selected AWS Region, defaulting to the nearest available.

The image is a screenshot of the AWS Lambda in the AWS Management Console with a dark theme. The AWS CloudShell is open in the Console Drawer at the bottom of the page to enter a command into the CLI.

🔍 Multi-account search in AWS Resource Explorer

What's New

Blog

AWS Resource Explorer enables you to swiftly locate resources across Regions and accounts within your organization. Set up is quick for an AWS Organization or specific OU. Access the multi-account search through AWS Resource Explorer, Unified Search, AWS CLI, SDKs, or AWS Chatbot.

The image is a screenshot of the AWS Management Console search box in Unified Search, displaying a single resource found for the query 'hello world'. The resource shown is a Lambda function named "Hello-World", located in the US East (N. Virginia) region, also known as us-east-1. The screenshot includes the Amazon Resource Name (ARN) for the function, and an option to 'See all results in Resource Explorer'.

✨ And of course, the team continues to make usability improvements in the AWS Management Console...more here and more to come in 2024!
