Catalysing Change: GAME’s Six-Year Journey of Empowering Entrepreneurs
In today's world, decent work is a scarce resource, and wealth continues to concentrate in the hands of a few. Here in India, this challenge hits particularly close to home. But what if there was a way to create a wave of entrepreneurship, not just for the privileged few, but for millions of ordinary people? This is the dream that drives GAME.
Six years ago, GAME embarked on a mission to catalyse mass entrepreneurship in India, driven by a vision to create 100 million new jobs by 2047, with at least one-third of those businesses owned by women.
A simple yet powerful belief: widespread entrepreneurship is the key to a prosperous "Viksit Bharat."
Our belief is simple: for India to prosper, we need widespread and decentralised entrepreneurship. Mass entrepreneurship paves a future where millions create and grow businesses, catering to local needs while also reaching wider markets. These businesses will be the engines of job creation, decentralised prosperity, and ultimately, a nation thriving on the collective spirit of its people.
From Vision to Action: Building a Collaborative Ecosystem
We know that entrepreneurship doesn't flourish in isolation. It needs a vibrant ecosystem to nurture its seeds. Places like Bengaluru demonstrate the power of a healthy local environment for business growth. This ecosystem has three key components:
Seed: A large pool of young people with an entrepreneurial mindset and the necessary skills.
Soil: Strong physical and digital infrastructure, access to networks, markets, and capital.
Climate: Inspiring role models, a supportive environment for starting and doing business, and an attitude that embraces calculated risks and learns from failures.
Unfortunately, many parts of India lack these vital elements. Existing interventions tend to be fragmented, one-off programs with limited reach. GAME's approach is different. We bring together a powerful alliance of key ecosystem players: entrepreneurs, NGOs, government entities, financial institutions, and educational institutes. This collaborative force, backed by GAME's strong central support network, creates a robust ecosystem for mass entrepreneurship to take root.
Mass Entrepreneurship as a Catalyst for Change
At the heart of GAME's mission is the belief that mass entrepreneurship is not just a concept but a movement—one that can transform India's economic landscape. Through strategic collaborations with over 70 partners, including governments, private sector entities, and NGOs, we are creating a network that enables mass entrepreneurship.
Impact: Over 300,000 entrepreneurs have been empowered through our initiatives.
Our partner, Udhyam Learning Foundation, has brought the Entrepreneurship Mindset Development Program to over 3 million students across 12 states, fostering entrepreneurial thinking in the next generation. $15 million in seed capital has been provided to more than 700,000 students, resulting in 100+ new enterprises, with 10 exceeding ₹1 crore in annual turnover.

Systems Approach: Scaling Solutions for Sustainable Impact
GAME doesn't just build ecosystems - we work to solve the systemic challenges that hold back entrepreneurs. We identify critical roadblocks like access to credit, market access, delayed payments, and the ease of doing business. Then, we design, test, and scale solutions that address these issues for long-term, sustainable impact.
Looking Ahead: 100 Million New Jobs by 2047
These numbers represent just the beginning. As we enter our seventh year, GAME's vision expands. We aim to contribute to a "Viksit Bharat" by fostering vibrant entrepreneurial ecosystems in every district across the nation. By 2047, we aspire to witness an India transformed by mass entrepreneurship, with over 100 million new jobs created.
We invite you to join us in creating a future where entrepreneurship is not just an opportunity but a movement that drives prosperity for all.
