Catch your wave | Startups and change makers in UAE
This is a collection of several short stories about UAE and a record of the level of engagement with and interest in those stories. UAE is veritable model city for the future. It was born in the 70s with little with a rich cultural heritage but it chose to welcome all cultures of the world to make a home for themselves within its borders, as a result almost 85% of UAE’s population is multilingual and multicultural representing more than 200 nationalities from around the world.
UAE has become a microcosm of the world. And a role model for how all the world’s nationalities can live and prosper together.
UAE has developed a vibrant entrepreneurial culture building on the brave pioneering traders of the past. UAE’s multitude of enterprising change makers are propelling it forward towards a bright and promising future. No wonder the producers of the most recent Star Trek movie choose UAE to film Start Trek’s frontier city in space as the well the Galactic Federation’s headquarters were filmed on location in DIFC in Dubai.
