Celebrating the Growth and Success of Viega's Inside Sales Team

The Inside Sales team at Viega has been making remarkable strides over the past year, from exciting promotions to building strong partnerships within the business and our local communities—there's truly no better time to celebrate this team’s achievements!

Exciting Promotions and Growth

Over the past few years, our Inside Sales team has grown exponentially in size and capability, successfully achieving goals and developing fantastic talent within the organization.

Each team member brings a unique story to the table that reflects the team's shared commitment to personal growth and further contributing to our meaningful culture.

In celebration of the team's recent success, we sat down with some former members of the Inside Sales team who have recently taken on new roles within the company. 


Michael Medina

Michael Medina , who joined Viega two years ago and is now working in Field Sales for our Southwest region, emphasizes the importance of Viega's supportive environment in lending to the Inside Sales team's success. He specifically describes Viega's culture as—

“Something really special that no one here should take for granted." 

Michael also emphasized that his time on the Inside Sales team was not merely a steppingstone, but a crucial learning phase that enabled him to build the intangible skills necessary for a future in field sales.

“Inside Sales gives you that growth path you’re looking for,” says Michael.

Creating this space to grow further highlights the team's dedication to helping its members grow here at Viega. 


Daniel Greenwald

Daniel Greenwald views his time on our Inside Sales team as a foundational experience for his growth as a sales professional. He compared the skills he learned during his time in Inside Sales to—

“Learning how to make a really good peanut butter and jelly sandwich before you become a chef."

Daniel’s recent transition to a District Sales Manager further illustrates the value of the Inside Sales role as a stepping stone for career advancement throughout Viega. Daniel’s own success highlights the tangible growth that comes from the strong sales foundation built through the Inside Sales role.


Jordane Lesne

Jordane LESNE recounts how excellent it was to join the Inside Sales team despite its remote nature.

“There's a true culture of support here at Viega, even when you are in a remote position,” he shares.

Jordane also notes that the collaborative spirit of the team was evident from his very first meeting with the team, where he quickly connected with colleagues.

Additionally, Jordan sees the Inside Sales role as an essential bridge to field sales. When reflecting on the transition to his new position in Field Sales, he specifically noted that his time as an Inside Sales Representative made him feel not only prepared, but also welcomed to the customer organization as a whole. 


Wendy Roach

Though Inside Sales is a fantastic launching pad to the Field Sales, that's not the only place where former Inside Sales team members have thrived here at Viega. For Wendy Roach , the transition to Viega's VMI team after her experience in Inside Sales was a turning point in her career. After a varied background in manufacturing and customer service, she discovered her strengths lay in building relationships.

“Managing my VMI accounts is perfect for me—I know these people, and my experience in Inside Sales helped me get there,” she explains.

Wendy’s move to VMI has given her the clarity she craved and has enabled her to dedicate her time to building and maintaining relationships with some of Viega's VIP customers.


Lindsay Bell

To learn more about the wide variety of different roles within Viega that former Inside Sales Representatives have grown into, we sat down with Lindsay Bell . Lindsay’s story brings a unique perspective to the team. With a deep passion for advocacy, she’s made her mark as a trailblazer in a predominantly male field.

“I don’t shy away from areas where I’m going to be challenged", Lindsay says.

Based on her experience on the Inside Sales team, Lindsay encourages her colleagues to stay connected and support one another as they navigate their careers, emphasizing the importance of lifting others as they climb.


The achievements of the Inside Sales team over the past year are nothing short of remarkable. They have successfully transitioned from a model where individuals manage dual regions to one where each region is represented by a dedicated Inside Sales rep. This strategic shift allows team members to focus their efforts and better serve clients, resulting in stronger relationships and increased satisfaction.

Our Inside Sales team exemplifies how passion, persistence, and teamwork can lead to meaningful career advancement, making it an exciting place for newcomers and seasoned professionals.

Creating Partnerships Across the Business

The collaboration between Inside Sales and Field Sales has never been stronger. “Our partnerships help bridge gaps and enhance overall efficiency,” said Jordane LESNE , who recently moved from Inside Sales to his new position as a Regional Sales Rep. He emphasized that “Inside Sales equips you with the foundational skills to get into the field and excel.”

As Michael Medina notes, “Inside Sales and Field Sales reps work hand in hand. We have the same goals, but we approach them differently.” This collaboration is a vital part of Viega’s ongoing success and growth.


Team Building in Recent Workshop

Inside Sales recently hosted a Q4 Workshop that was a huge success! It marked the first time our Inside Sales team has full coverage across all of Viega North America!
